Driving Question

How can morals taught in fairytales / fractured fairytales be related  to our lives in Merrylands?

What morals from the past are still relevant today?

Students in pairs or small groups decide what kind of experience and moral to write about, compose a script, and finally present their story to a student audience in a medium of their choice.

CREATE

  • We've created Character Charts in small groups and a Mind Map of the fairytale we want to write. Using this information, we have began writing our own fairytales.
  • We are now designing a modern television/newspaper advertisement to promote one of the fairytales identified in the previous two charts- The ‘Character Chart’ and the ‘Good v’s Evil Chart’.
